Meet our AI Assistant 'Ada'

If you are not a developer, you probably find a lot of the terminology around code analysis confusing. Don’t worry, you’re not alone! The majority of business owners, ecommerce managers, product owners and project managers are in the same boat. That’s where our AI Assistant Ada comes in.

How does Ada work?

As soon as we have access, Ada scans your entire codebase and pulls back all of the key information we know is important to you – the budget holder. Ada won’t just pull out acronyms or error codes, she will also explain what these things mean in simple english. Any insights she extracts from your data will also be presented on a dedicated page, which means that you now have a bespoke dashboard of talking points that you can take to your development team to help guide your weekly or monthly calls.

What can I expect to learn?

Ada can offer general advice, answer questions and provide explanations related to your code, covering things like explaining the different coding languages being used in the code (and their pros and cons) or providing a summary of any security vulnerabilities.

Simplified technical summaries

Ada is able to explain all of our insights in simple English, explaining what they mean and what is contributing to it. For example Ada will tell you the pros and cons of any of the programming languages in your codebase, or what it means that your codebase has a high overall complexity score. Ada’s job is to explain the complex as simply as possible.

Understanding potential issues

Using Ada’s simple explanations and chat interface, you’ll not only learn that there are 3 urgent security issues detected, or that out of the 30 open source software components detected, 10 of them are out of date and 3 of them have vulnerabilities, you’ll also understand what those issues mean and what impact they could have or be having on your software..

Anything Else!

Within reason, Ada will answer any questions you have relating to software development, best practises and technology. You can also ask any questions about your specific project and Ada will prompt you on each page to start a conversation. For example you can ask “What are the most common programming languages in my code?” and then “What are the pros and cons of using those languages?”.
