Quality of Life improvements
Code source connection alerts
This was a feature request by a customer, as it’s not clear when our system has had an issue connecting to a code vault’s code source to re-analyse code.
Currently we do a connection test every Monday at 3am, and send out automated emails to the account owner if a connection fails. But other team members didn’t receive anything.
Now connection issues are clear within the web app:
SCANOSS branding on the components page
We’ve made our official partnership with SCANOSS more prominent around our web app and marketing website
Bug fixes
- Fixed a bug with some GIT branches with specific symbols in the names when analysing GIT branches
- Fixed a bug with some GIT branches with the same name but different capitalisation
- Improved error handling in our automated PDF report generation function
- Fixed a bug where duplicate new versions were queued for the same code vault
- Added better error handling and automatic retries on GIT history analysis
- Fixed a bug where all branches for a repo on bitbucket weren’t listed
- This was due to BitBucket API limitations
- Fixed a bug with strange symbols in security issue code snippets causing an error
- Fixed a bug where in some cases the open source component scanner command returned a non 0 return code
- Fixed the bug where you can’t see the full complexity file names
- You can now click to see the full paths
- Fixed a bug where the default text in various parts of the web app wasn’t readable if the operating system was set to dark mode
- The text appeared as white on a white background!
