RELEASE HIGHLIGHTS
This is primarily a Quality of Life release.
BITBUCKET INTEGRATION
Our official GIT provider integrations now cover GitLab, GitHub and Bitbucket.
This release includes our official Bitbucket integration. Bitbucket users can now connect to their Bitbucket account and simply select their repositories to sync when creating projects. It’s one of our primary goals to make using our platform as easy as possible, no matter what your tech stack or code host is.
Connecting The Code Registry to Bitbucket is as simple as creating an App Password (with limited permissions) and clicking “Connect to Bitbucket.”

We link to Atlassian’s official guide to creating App Passwords, which only takes 20 seconds
support.atlassian.com/bitbucket-cloud/docs/create-an-app-password
You then simply allow our Bitbucket app to access your account — we only need your nickname, email, and the ability to read your repositories.

And that’s it!

Now when you create a project or add a code vault to an existing project, this is how easy it is

IMPROVEMENTS TO BULK REPOSITORY SYNCING
Select multiple repositories and branches, even across different GIT providers.
We’ve revamped our user interface when selecting repositories, either when creating new projects or adding to existing ones. It’s now much easier and simpler to select multiple repositories and their branches at once.

It’s worth reminding everyone that our platform doesn’t care what GIT provider (or file archive) your code is coming from — we’ll analyse it just the same and present the data in a single dashboard. You can analyze our insights in a single place across GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket, private GIT servers, and code file archives. You can’t do that anywhere else!
OTHER CHANGES
Added More Links to the Project Settings Page
Previously you had to open a project, then go to the settings button at the bottom of the page. We’ve added more buttons to get to this important area more easily.

Free Code Escrow UI Improvements
After this big feature went live last week, we noticed some additional UI improvements to be done. These are now live.
Terminology / Wording Change
We’ve renamed all references to “IP Projects” to simply “projects,” and “IP Code Vaults” to “code vaults.”
BUG FIXES
- Fixed a bug in the calculations in one of our architecture scaling mechanisms.
- Fixed a bug where the guided tour stopped showing on the main app homepage.
- Fixed a bug where code sources you add while creating a project weren’t saved if you refreshed the page or navigated away and back.
- Fixed a bug which threw an error when creating empty projects in some cases.
- Fixed a bug which caused an error in some cases, specifically when GIT Provider (GitHub / GitLab etc.) connections are managed at the project level instead of the team level.
